Fused Clapton coil from Tesla Handcrafted Coils with two (2) 27ga cores from Ni80 and external winding 42gaKa. The internal cross section of the coil is 3mm and yields 0.48m one (1) and ~ 0.24m the pair (2)
Hybrid is a resistor that combines 2 different types of metals. In essence, the core is Ni80, where you glow faster due to lower ohmic resistance, and when knitting with KanthaL, we borrow the elements of flavors that it gives as a characteristic of the wire. So we have a combination of faster lighting with awesome taste analysis. The only downside is the shorter lifespan of the Kanthal compared to the full Ni80.
All Tesla Handcrafted Coils resistors, after being manufactured, are washed in an ultrasonic bath, sterilized with UV lamps and airtight in a vacuum bag package. In this way we ensure both the quality and clarity of our resistances.
