Scientists haveknown for years that people have been smoking for their nicotine addiction buthave been dying because of the smoke the smoke they have been inhaling. According to theresearch of Dr. Kon. Farsalinos that studied more than 19,000 users ofelectronic cigarette.

There are manybenefits to health from the transition from the conventional cigarette to theelectronic one.

Pubished in theInternational Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.

The research,with Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos as the main researcher from the cardiosurgical center Onaseio, evaluated the experience, the methods that were used,the side effects, as well as the benefits exactly as they were described in aquestionnaire by more than 19,000 users of electronic cigarette.

According to theresults of this research, 80% of the respondents has completely replacedsmoking with a conventional cigarette to smoking with an electronic one,whereas the rest 20% diminished smoking from 20 cigarettes to only 4 daily.

More than halfof the respondents mentioned mild and temporary side effects, with a mainsymptom a sore mouth and throat. At the same time though they mentionedimportant benefits such as better inhalation, better tasting and smellingsense, and also an improvement in preexisting diseases like COPD, asthma,hypertension and hypercholesterolemia.

«This research,has been the largest that has been published until today», says Dr. K.Farsalinos and notes: «Electronic cigarettes don’t have healing abilities, buttheir use instead of tobacco products will certainly lead to important healthbenefits ».
